Today Shawn is doing a Duty shift...not his someone else's.
Monday they sail for the week, getting in some last min. exercises before they take a few days off and get ready for the Fleet Review and the "big sail" for the yr.
We have 15 days until they leave for about 21 weeks. of those 15 days he will be home for 9. Smart man he is though he booked the week before they leave off..getting him out of working the CNC. Maybe as they are trying to get him to drive the boat on the 12th...
Our lash hurrah for the month will be a day sail on the Alg. The kids and I will get to go on board Monday am and hang out with Shawn as he goes about his day.
Some plans for June start with a couple nights camping at French Beach. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong and we get some sun.
CNC fireworks on the 11th
The 12th 's plan is to hand out on the Lagoon with the BBQ and hopefully some friends and watch the Fleet review, the skydivers and the Snowbirds show.
Sunday will be a day to relax....not we will likely spend the day doing all the last min prep for the sail...and dropping Shawn off at the ship in the evening if they plan to depart early Monday morn.
