So Dh decided that this was the Year to buy a home in Victoria. Thanks to the down turn in the economy house prices are coming down...boo for sellers but Yeah for buyers. This time last year We could not even think of looking at homes....well we could look but nothing that fit our need and wants was anywhere near our price range.
We have been living in front of the computer on MLS. and there are lots of listings, some look great but when you do a walk through you find scary electrical or 3rd bed rooms that are not really bedrooms.
Add that the kids are in French immersion and that doubles the looking. close to the school are still too pricey and too far and they may not be able to take a bus.
We have put in an offer on a house but where out bid. I am holding my breath cause they have until Friday to lift the conditions, and the house may come back on the market.
I want to get out of Military houseing, not that its a bad house its just not mine.
